Historians call you the " Black Continent"
Critics call you the " Island of Blacks"
Many others know you as " the land of Slaves"
Like a dry desert drowned by drought
The bleak ray of poverty has shattered
Your hope of survival
War has taken you into captivity
Where you lie in utter ruins
Fear has stolen your hope
Misery has cursed your fate
Oh; Mother Africa Why
Soon the clouds will swell the sun
And the rains fall
Since the desolation desert continues
To vomit oil daily
Since every seed rots before it sprouts
A time is coming
When you shall emerge from the hell of doom
Trample war and poverty underfoot
And a wear the crown of peace and prosperity

The Clandestine Caution

Then the old man tapped my shoulder and said "son, there is no sense and honor in boasting in your ability to insult". Because I was face red with anger, I couldn't understand the old man. But after the incident when my temper was down, then I remembered three of my pastor's favorite quotes
1. An angry man is a careless man even in his choice of words
2. It is better for a man to do foolish things than to say them, because he will always be quoted.
3. Anger is just a letter D away from Danger.
Due to pride (of course which lead to the downfall of Nebuchadnezzar) I didn't want to accept i was wrong for my choice of words. Just then a bus passed with the following words boldly written behind it.
"WHEN SMALL MINDS ARE TROUBLED THEY OVERREACT BY INSULTING" Immediately I was fully ashamed in my head of my earlier action. Then I realized God was speaking to me in a mysterious way.

Dont Kill Your Dreams

If you want to make a difference in life don't just behave, think and see like the masses. Be different, stand out, think out of the ordinary. As human as we are, we want to be accepted by those around us there is a feeling of wanna be but mind you if your dream is very big few people will believe in you but don't let that shatter your dream. Always remember the saying that the hammer that shatters the glass is the same that forges the steel .

My Childhood Advice

My Childhood Advice

Growing up, I had 3 pieces of advice in mind.
1. If you will have to talk, say something.
2. There is nothing new under the sun.
3. To be loved, be lovable.

My dad used to say silence is an epitome of wisdom. So if you gonna break your silence, let

Be Ready to be Taught

Everyday has something to teach us.
Just that we most of the time don't pay attention due to pressure.

NAC PRESIDENT ON THE INTERNATIONAL DAY FOR THE ELIMINATION OF RACIAL DISCRIMINATION

MAKE A CHANGE-END DISCRIMINATIONA MESSAGE BY THE NAC PRESIDENT ON THE INTERNATIONAL DAY FOR THE ELIMINATION OF RACIAL DISCRIMINATION

It all starts with thinking that the other person is less than you. Discrimination, it leads to ignorance and even hate. The difference in race, color, gender, age, disability, religious belief or sexual orientation does not give anyone the right to judge or feel superior in any way to the other person. We are all human beings, worthy of the same rights.
Nations have been separated, people’s hatred for one another has escalated to the point of spilling of blood. South Africa lived in apartheid, there was no peace and security as people of the same country killed each other. Cameron is now fighting the same battle of differences in language, It's appalling that some countries reinforce their power and the status quo by openly justifying discrimination in the name of morality, religion or ideology.
Discrimination has successfully
