WASTE IT AND YOU END LIFE: WATER
As today 22nd March
marks the UN water day celebration with the theme "WASTEWATER" the
awareness of water preservation must be created. So the NEW AFRICAN CHAPTER is
joining her voice to that of millions of people and we "say use water wisely
and help extend to those in need", make vibrant the awareness.
It will be quite
funny to wait to be educated on how important
water is because I guess we all know how valuable it is in our daily lives (domestically, industrially, agriculturally etc). But what we all don't know is how scarce drinkable water is getting day in day out due to global warming, the rapid increase in human population and how some people have very limited access to it. We all know and understand that, every living creature needs water to survive so if we waste water we ending a life one way or the other.

Today we hear of the
desperate situation in our own Somalia. The drought is so serious, people and
animals are dying. I hope with the world giving attention to making good use of
the water we have and putting in measures to help extending access to good usable
water to the needed parts of the world especially our own Africa, situations
like Somalia's drought will be taken care of. Lets all join hands as we
celebrate the UN day for water, create the awareness that water is needed badly
in some places and think of how to help solve that problem. I think it is time
our generation of indefatigable young African entrepreneurs venture the vast
area of water. What will we call them? Water-entrepreneurs?
