My Childhood Advice

My Childhood Advice

Growing up, I had 3 pieces of advice in mind.
1. If you will have to talk, say something.
2. There is nothing new under the sun.
3. To be loved, be lovable.

My dad used to say silence is an epitome of wisdom. So if you gonna break your silence, let
the words be of much worth than the silence. But most people talk today not because they have something to say but rather because they want to say something. So remember if you will talk, say something
And that no matter who you are and what you've done remember you can only reinvent the wheel its nothing entirely new. So just be humble with your achievements. Because there is nothing new under the sun.

Don't build walls around yourself and expect company, rather build bridges which will lead others to you. After all no man is an island. Even Alfred Nobel who was also referred to as the merchant of death by a French newspaper that erroneously published Alfred's obituary, after spending much of his life in solitary to invent the dynamite which of course has done more harm to our planet than good after reading his mistakenly written obituary in the news paper where the newspaper  condemned him for his invention of dynamite realized he had to bring people around him by doing something positive and is said to have brought about his decision to leave a better legacy after his death and hence the birth of the world's cherished prize the Noble Peace prize. The obituary stated, Le marchand de la mort est mort ("The merchant of death is dead")and went on to say, "Dr. Alfred Nobel, who became rich by finding ways to kill more people faster than ever before, died yesterday." Alfred (who never had a wife or children) was disappointed with what he read and concerned with how he would be remembered. His peace prize is being financed by Sir Alfred Noble's wealth that he put in trusts. To be loved, dear reader be lovable because you will only reap what you sow.
